On friday the 20th of May the attention is brought to a symposium, where numerous aspects of the professional wind playing world will be addressed in a short conference of an hour. Furthermore a music market is organised as well as short concerts on various venues throughout the day.
The Noord Nederlands Orkest will perform the world premier of the hobo concert by Corigliano on friday night and will be giving master classes during On Wings! 2011 as well! In addition to these agenda highlights the second concert of the presentation competition, which is a performance to an existing audience, will take place.
